For example, if you are a wine shop and you sign up to the Dorset area, no other wine shops will be allowed to advertise in that area. This removes the risk of competitors poaching your potential clients, something which search engines can not provide as they bring up all relevant links and also targeted 'pay per click' adverts. It is also something directories can not provide as they provide lists of businesses in categories - so all your competitors are right there too. This is why we personally check all applications, to make sure we keep our promise. Remember though, if someone within your sector beats you to it, you will not be able to advertise in that area
